There’s nothing quite like Opening Night at Art in the Park. The exhibition is fresh, the artists are ready to talk and you get first pick of the art.
Spend the evening meeting and speaking with over 140 incredible artists before the busy weekend gets underway. And when a piece catches your eye, you can make it yours before the weekend crowds get a look in!

Get creative in the Creative Corner, hosted by Auckland’s messy art studio, Art Escape. Known for their playful, hands-on art experiences, they’re bringing a taste of their studio to Art in the Park.
CREATE YOUR OWN FLUID ART KEYCHAIN
Play with paint and turn a keychain into your own little work of art to take home! It’s fun for the whole family, with no experience needed. Just get stuck in and see what you create.
