Join critically acclaimed and award-winning comedians Lily Catastrophe (BOTTOM SURGERY, Little Sister) and Keegan Thomas (Hey Miss!, Boy Band Brain) as they take you for the wildest hour-long ride of your life in the debut season of their maximalist alt-comedy cabaret, Full Puss.
The pair have performed multiple sold-out shows across the New Zealand Fringe and Comedy Festival circuits, and now join forces in Full Puss, slamming together dumb and sexy, glitter and grime, with just a hint of y2kcore nostalgia.
“Keegan and I are an unexpected pairing.” Catastrophe says. “We have pretty different energies on stage and people are often genuinely shocked to find out that we are best friends in real life. I want Full Puss to be a show that captures that feeling of shock and throws it back at the audience.”
Full Puss also features cameos from Catastrophe and Thomas’ favourite comedians from across the motu, including Mo Munn, NYPDEEZ Nuts, and Lydia Sainsbury. Full Puss is filled to the brim with wild set pieces, unwavering energy, and unbridled sex appeal in an electrifying extravaganza.
“Full Puss is a show I’ve always wanted to create and perform. I was waiting for the perfect collaborator to do it with and that’s Lily,” Thomas says. “The show is a love letter to the type of manic, physical and surreal comedy that I’ve always loved. It’s the perfect opportunity to step out of my comedy boundaries and prove that white boys can be funny and sexy too!”
Full Puss will run on 5 November and 7 November at the Basement Theatre.
