Two stations. Two completely different experiences.
Two stations. Two completely different experiences. One unforgettable night out.
Aucklanders are being encouraged to head into the city centre and experience two free after-dark attractions transforming some of the city's busiest public spaces.
As part of Auckland Live's We The Young festival, Windows of Imagination and POPS Pinball are bringing creativity, colour and play to Te Waihorotiu Station, Te Waitematā Station and Te Komititanga each evening.
Windows of Imagination transforms the façade of Te Waihorotiu Station into a giant outdoor gallery featuring 179 artworks created by Auckland tamariki. The large-scale projection turns the building into a series of illuminated windows filled with imaginative scenes and hidden details waiting to be discovered.
Just a short walk away, POPS Pinball invites visitors to become part of the action by stepping up to play a giant interactive pinball game projected across Te Waitematā Station and Te Komititanga. Up to four people can play at once, creating a fun and highly visual experience for both participants and spectators.
While the experiences are completely separate, together they offer a unique evening out for families, friends and visitors looking to explore the city in a different way.
Both installations are free and suitable for all ages, making them an ideal school holiday outing or after-work adventure.
